Stone Industry Group’s new optical CNC tool measuring system recognized as “best of” in technology class for its innovation and ingenuity.
SIG was presented with the Best of Technology award at The International Surface Event (TISE) last week in Las Vegas for its new product, ClearCut.
TISE, along with the awards program sponsors, hosts the “Best Of” Award program to celebrate industry innovation and ingenuity, and exhibitors’ contributions to the floor coverings industry.
“We’re so appreciative of the hard work and effort that goes towards creating products, setting up displays and developing a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees,” said Amie Gilmore, CEM, Show Director, The International Surface Event, Informa Exhibitions. “We are honored to award these efforts each year! Congratulations!”
Made in the USA, ClearCut is a high-resolution optical tool measuring system that quickly calibrates entire tool sets directly on the CNC machine. While regular calibration can help extend tool life on all CNC routers and improve the quality of finished edges, the ClearCut goes beyond that by measuring tools within the actual spindle of the CNC.
“It’s a tremendous honour for our company to win this award for ClearCut,” “There are a multitude of people who helped launch this innovative product and we share this award with each of them. The response to the launch of ClearCut has been tremendous. Being able to demo the system at TISE, along with our LT-2D3D Laser Templator, has generated interest among new and current clients.”
